There is a solid body inside the two separate surfaces. Knit Surface tool is used to combine these two surfaces. But Knit Surface tool also reduces the surface dimension and make it up to solid body. If you move the BLUE LINE up and down you can see it. What is the reason for that? It is not the case in my file.
