is there an APi to judge if the sub-assembly or part is modified?

I can seek the feature tree of assembly. and i can get the root componet and it's modeldoc2

but I what to know if this modeldoc is modifyed .

if the modeldoc2 is modified I 'd then use modeldoc2::save
