Our IT department, in their infinite brilliance, changed our permission on our C:\\ drive and now SW cannot create a journal file. I also cannot locate where the journal file is typically created by looking in the registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\software\\SolidWorks\\SolidWorks 200x\\ExtReferences) because SW can't even CREATE the file.

Where would SW typically store the journal file, please? Our IT department is going to have to alter the C:\\ drive permission to allow changes to this directory.
