Well today I decided I was going to play with the save as pdf setting to compare my default settings to a setting with the higher options selected - mainly dpi and some check boxes. As the file is saving on my 10 page drawing it takes longer to convert when finally it get to the last page, then boom - error. I reset the options then try to resave but the second time around the same error appears for every page. The only way for me to save it off as a pdf at the default lower res is to close the file, shut down SW and reopen and try again.

Anyone else see this with files? Any way to fix it? Thanks for all the input guys and gals!
