I need to create an automatic BOM, my biggest hrudle at this point is due to standards we follow every single item must have a unique detail #

In many cases I use a common componment multiple times in an assembly, I need th BOM to establish a unque detail # to each instance

I have tried giving each instance a unique component description

anyone have any ideas

I would hate to have to perform save & copy & replace every time I have a (2) copies of the same part!

Please help
