Hi,

So I'm having some issues using the 2D Block Sketch to show motion relative to 2 parts (blocks).  Attached is the Solidworks ASSY file, along w/ a screenshot of what I'm dealing with. 

First, I don't know if I should be trying to use Mates in the ASSY Layout, or when I've actually got a "Motion Analysis" going (I created one w/ a simple downward force acting where I'd like, but if you click to Play it, you'll see that it's NOT acting the way I'd like). 

I've tried using the "Path" mate in the Advanced Mates option from within the Layout, but when I try to click the vertex point on the top piece, and the sketch line of the bottom piece that the top piece slides along, it keeps giving me an error saying: "please select path & vertex from separate components"

Any ideas as to what type of "mates" (ie, restraints) I'd need to add, and where / how?  From the screenshot, you can see what I'd like to have happen, and what is actually happening.
