Hello everyone,
I am having trouble installing SOLIDWORKS Electrical on my personal computer using the Home Use License (HUL) provided by my university (SOLIDWORKS Education Premium).
Here is my situation:
- I have already installed SOLIDWORKS Premium with the Home Use License.
- I want to add Electrical Schematic and Electrical 3D through the Installation Manager.
When I check the Electrical modules without entering a serial number, I get the message:
“Your SOLIDWORKS Electrical serial number is incomplete. Most serial numbers have 24 characters. SolidNetWork Licenses (SNL) and some older SOLIDWORKS serial numbers require only 16 characters.”
- I am unsure which serial number to use for Electrical with my Home Use license.
I have already tried modifying the installation while leaving the other serial number fields empty.
Could you please advise how to properly install Electrical with a Home Use Education Premium license and have the shortcuts appear on my desktop?
Thank you very much for your help!
