In SW 2018 I am not able to create an axis in a step file. I am also finding it hard apply mates when the step is used in an assembly.

I looks like importing has changed with this release, I noticed there is now an option to dissolve the relations to the original file.

Maybe I am not using the right search terms but I havent found anything relevant on the forums.
