Is this still the best way to save similar parts

Hi

As the title suggests is the following still the best / easiest way to save a copy of a similar part with associated drawing.

This is how I was taught to do it, for example I have a part called 1F110 and now I need another part exactly the same except it need to be called 2F110.

So I open the original drawing up, go Save As, make sure the 'Include all referenced components' box is ticked, then select 'Advanced'

Then change the old part and drawing to the new mark and saved to a location (in this case desktop)

Is this still the best way to do this?
