Is there any point continuing with Cutlist when B.O.M. is better.

It seems to me the Cutlist is no longer necessary as the B.O.M. can now incorporate Weldments. As the B.O.M. has greater functionality e.g. equations for columns and greater Sorting power why are SW continuing to develop the Cutlist?

The ability to re-order the Cutlist property folders seems to be the extent of SW2011 Weldment development. However despite that the Cutlist is still not a good as the B.O.M. from SW2010. I do think time could have been better spent. For example stopping making the Gusset feature pointless.

To simplify SolidWorks interface, I think, the Cutlist should be done away with. One table for all. Surely that makes sense. Development can then be focused on one tool instead of split between two which are trying to do the same job.
