You can imagine why searching for this question comes up with stuff that isn't what I want since every word I included have a different meaning than the one I want and I guess my problem is that I don't know how to ask for what I want.

I am working with some sheetmetal parts and some of the parts get made from diamond plate in one version and other versions from mill finish.  I have been having an issue with the shop choosing the wrong material despite notes and BOMs.  I would like to add a texture/hash marks/pattern/or whatever you would like to call them on my diamond plate parts in the prints to further denote that they are diamond plate.  Preferably I would like to include this pattern at the part material so I don't have to do a fill in every print.

Is this possible?  I already have a material specific color chosen.  Is there a way to do this?
