We are tasked to make a 3D Model design of our PCB Board for our Design Project using Solidworks. I am not quite familiar yet with the Solidworks Add-in such as the Circuitworks and its included component library. I would just like to ask whether a component from the library can be modified or if not, how can a component be added to the library without using another software such as Altium Designer?  And how can the components be placed in a board. I have been watching youtube tutorials regarding this matter and so far has not yet understood the process. Can someone explain to me the process of doing this? Thanks and God bless.
