When moving the the SolidWorks Workgoup PDM vault to a new server, the first step is to install the software on the new server.

Next, stop the SolidWorks Workgoup PDM service from Windows Services on the new server.

Copy the Vault folder from the old server to the new server overwriting the Vault folder on the new server.

And lastly, start the SolidWorks Workgoup PDM service from Windows Services.
