Is it possible to default drawing views so that the automatically go onto a specified layer when you insert them into a drawing? I have been playing with this for hours and searching the forums, but no luck yet. I have figured out how to default dimensions, annotations, tables, etc to certain layers, but not drawing views.

Ideally, I would like the bend notes in this view to be on the annotations layer, bend up lines on a bend_lines-UP layer, part geometry to be on a geometry layer, etc. Is this possible?

Currently somehow the bend notes are being put on the geometry layer and the actual part geometry is not on a layer at all.
