I have been asked to update our Solidworks 2010 to 2011, as well as update software for wPDM. At the moment we are running 2010 SP4.0 on 3 machines. My questions are:

-If I install Solidworks 2011 first as a new install (and keep 2010 on the same machine). Will I have any problems /conflicts when accesing wPDM?

-wPDM software (i believe) is on the network server and I would like to keep the current version of it running and in use while updating Solidworks on the 3 machines. Is this possible-or is it a bad idea?

-Can the PDM admin software be installed on 2 machines? And should I have a seperate disc for this?

Our Solidworks rep. did all this for us before so its all still a bit confusing.....
