Hello,

I'm trying to install SolidWorks 2015 SP 5 onto a Windows 10 virtual machine. I either get an error "internal error: the windows installer for this product component did not run as expected: install site:forum.solidworks.com" or I get the following:

I've gotten a similar error on Windows 7. I've tried with the firewall turned on and turned off. I've also tried running as an administrator.

Any ideas as to how to get Solidworks installed?
