Here's the deal, we have 3 seats of SolidWorks at work, two of which already have the home license installed and are used everyday, the other seat is only used on occasion. We have a CNC programmer that is going to need access to our solid models to pull geometry from. So here is what I am wanting to do, put SolidWorks explore on our programmers computer so that he can log in and check out our solids.
My question is, is this even possible?
Can I put SolidWorks Explore on the computer and not SolidWorks under the serial number of the seat that doesn't have a home license installed?
Will I have to install SolidWorks on his computer as a home license?
If I have to install SolidWorks on his computer as a home license, will the two computers be able to work side by side? Yes, I know how the home license works 80% for the office license and 20% for the home license. Our programmer will only be in the software very few times a day.
