Hello All,

In a drawing, is it possible to insert model items from a feature's sketch that has been created from converted entities? 
 

To preface, When modeling a part I will start by creating 2 or 3 sketches on the front, right, or top planes. I will then build out features by converting entities from those original sketches. This way if I need to make an edit I just have to reference the original sketches. I will also make sure that all dimensions are marked for drawings. 

Typically I will utilize the modeling items tool to insert dimensions and their respective tolerances since the smart dimensions tool doesn't keep dimensional tolerances. When I try to use the modeling items tool with the method of modeling I described above, I get the following pop-up message:
