We are looking at using indented BOMs, with detailed numbering.

I noticed that it does indent the numbering but it is very hard to spot, and most people don’t even notice it.

After speaking with our VAR, they couldn’t find out a way, except by adjusting the part number to have trailing spaces before the part number. This is something we definitely don’t want to do. I was wondering if anyone had worked out a way of increasing the indent, or generally making the detailed BOM easier to read/spot the different levels.

I did wonder if it was possible using the equations function of the BOM table?
