As the topic mentioned, the annotation means added by the big "A" icon in the annotaiton commands.

as the below picture  shows

1. Is there any API interface or method for merging 2 annotaitons ?

I can find the right click menu, but could not find its API method or hints.As the below picture shows

2. or edit one of them by adding the text from one annotation to another
