Hi,
I think I am under the correct header on this one.
I currently have a situation that the standards we spec out in our titleblock is ASME Y14.5-1994
I believe the most current one is ASME Y14.5-2009. I need to ask a few questions here.
1.) Does the Solidworks 2010 support ASME Y14.5-2009? Is it assumed that the latest versions Solidworks
puts out are always complying with the most up to date specs?
2.) If number 1 is yes, where can I find or how does one maintain and old standard, say ASME Y14.5-1994?
Do I use the loading method shown below?
3.) How does one create an .sldstd file? Is it nothing more then a notepad format file?
4.) I think I am correct in saying that Soldiworks at least used to allow you to select your standard upon installation
of the software. The last time I installed was with 2009. Is this still true? If so, after the install can one change that?
Thank you for your help in advance.
