I have a subassembly(toilet) that I downloaded as an autocad file, and opened in SW 2013. It created 3 parts (whose features were surfaces) that made up the toilet assembly. I have inserted this assembly into my top level assembly with no issues. Now I am creating a drawing of this top level assembly with a cross sections and the toilet does not show up. It is not hidden or surpressed and if I click on the area where the toilet is it will highlight an edge. The section line is in the correct position to be showing the toilet. If I select the toilet in the feature manager, it will hightlight a box around where the toilet is located. I can insert the toilet itself into a drawing and it shows up fine.
Any suggestions why it is not showing up in my drawing? I do not work with surface modelling at all, so I am not sure if that has anything to do with it. I have attached a couple of screen shots for a visual as my files are very large and I am not permitted to upload.
Thanks,
Colleen
