I need to read in a txt file that has 100 points in X, Y, Z format.

I searched the forum and found a post that says make a 2d sketch and convert the sketch.

The points do not fall on a plane, the form a spline in space.

I found a point file import add-in for Solidworks from Sycode for \\\$200

I am trying to duplicate a pro/e prewhirl blade 3D part and creating the same 3D model in SolidWorks 2010.

I know I can read in points as a curve in SolidWorks.

I need to see each point in SolidWorks in 3d space.

Do I have to buy a \\\$200 plugin to do this basic function in SolidWorks?
