Hi all,

Firstly, I have not very much knowledge using 3D data. I have Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor and Matlab to solve my problems.

I have data from a microCT scan in form of a stack of bmp files, or .txt files for that matter.

Until now I tried converting that data into .stl file format using matlab. But thats very messy and doesn't work properly.

Is there any good way to import the data into solidworks? I'm looking for a really clean method, since I want to run numerical simulations on the model afterwards.
