If you have C10 and C01 Mooney Rivlin constants as well as the modulus in psi, do you just enter these as the first and second constants in a hyper-elastic Mooney-Rivlin model or is there some further conversion required? I wanted to try some values I got from a table that converts Shore A hardness to modulus and C10 and C01 Mooney-Rivlin constants. The values we used in the Sim Prem o-ring tutorial are much higher than even the 70 Shore A values in that table so I am curious if that o-ring in the tutorial is even a rubber or something far stronger like a metallic seal. The values in the tutorial are 840 and 260 I believe, whereas the table I have suggests using C10 106.72 and C01 as 26.68 for a Shore A of 70. Should I be able to use C10 and C01 as the first and second constants, resp. in the Mooney-Rivlin hyperelastic model in Simulation?
Thanks for any advice on this.
