Imaging you have two parts. One a solid brass rod and the other a steel sleeve that just slides over the brass rod.

Is there a way to cut a section through the steel sleeve and halfway into the brass rod so that you see both the materials as the are set in their appreance.

Basically a partial cross section that will show both the silver and gold color.
