I am on hour 50 of a template design assembly that i have gone through pain staking effort to follow SW "rules" and i have tested tested tested tested. to ensure proper operation..
I open today and a simple extrude cut "up to next" has decided to go through the "next" surface and proceeds to cut through the entire model. OK...easy fix, i pick "up to surface" since this will not correct itself through reboot. This ends up causing a domino affect with system entities that i had used in my design, such as temporary axis etc... and now i have issues (mainly minor) throught my drawings and models but i have little confidence i will be able to fully fix this now to my satisfaction. Im versed enough with SW at this point to be able to create assemblies like this. It is the inconsistant nature of this software that i am frustrated with..
I am seriously considering tring Inventor before moving moving my companies entire product line into SW...Im so frustraded!!
