I have never modeled from the top dwon before. am trying to tackle a 2-300 multibody part asembly with configs of sub "save bodies" added back into the assembly.  It almost worked but every edit caused other configs to fall apart. Its worked before but each sub piece was also saved out as its own part and then the entire multibody part as one assembly, then configs were made of the sub pieces and this is about when it fell apart.

So I started a floor plan in the assembly layout and now am attempting to sketch the verticle lines on an inserted part view and the horizontal and verticle symbols are all reversed?
See top plane verticle says its horizontal.
