how does a part file, containing zero external references, and maybe 15-20 simple features end up being an almost 2 Gb file?

about 15 minutes to open the file

30+ minutes for rebuilds and saves.

pretty much freezes my entire computer off and on during rebuilds and saves with the "low memory" balloon popping up constantly.

gets up to 10,000,000 K in memory usage and 3,000+ under the GDI objects (task manager), then drops back down to roughly 3,000,000 K, and goes up by 4 K incriments with my cpu usage never going over 8%.

has taken me 3 days so far to do something that should be done in a couple hours.

have already sent the file to my VAR

jus wondering if anyone has any input/ideas/concerns
