This is a SolidWorks only workstation. It is marketed by HP as a Solidworks certified workstation.
This workstation frequently freezes, 1-5 times a day, from day 1. No apparent pattern. The mouse cursor still moves. Most frequently it happens when, if even just a small part or asy is open and you try to open another part. Task manager usually ends up saying SW not responding, yet before that happens you can open Windows explorer and browse to any directory local or on network in an instant. Some times SW just closes. If you look at CPU usage it is under 2%, memory usage is small. This happens whether you work locally or over network.
To add to my confusion HP, Solidworks and Nvidia all list different drivers as certified.
