I saw a webcast today on the new HP Z workstations. I've beenimpressed with the xw series in previous benchmark tests, and oftenthought of using them for my next workstation. The webcast waspushing Autodesk products (for better or for worse, I'm not sure atthis point in SW release cycle).
I've noticed that I am not able to customize the Z system at all,and they don't offer the Core i7 EE (my favorite pick based on mycurrent Core 2 EE and Anna's punch holder specs).
Just wondered if there's anyone out there with a HP Z system thatcan provide some feedback, or if some of the techies can tell mewhat's good or bad on the Z system.
Of course, this all assumes I am able to reach someone from HP tosell me a system. I am in Ontario, and after calling for productinformation I was transferred to three different people, all whotold me the next one was going to be the workstation specialist. Ifinally gave up and hung up the phone
