I really don't know how to explain this...If the crosses of objects one and two were lined up, how would I create a void in Object 1 where Object 2 would be? Think of Object 1 as concrete that's poured around Object 2...

In the drawing I'm needing this for, Object 2 is way more complicated otherwise I know i could use an extruded cut.
