How to simulate slumping glass/plastic?

I'm looking for a way to simulate this scenario, and scenarios like it: I put a panel of chain-link fence in a kiln and then lay a pane of glass over it. The glass softens after some time in the heat soak and subtly slumps down in the negative spaces. Then it's cooled. As of now this is something we trial-and-error our way through to get appealing patterns, but my hope is that Solidworks has a simulation add-in (Plastics?) or surfacing tool that might be of help. Any thoughts? Note that this is something which would be used for visualizing the outcoming pattern, not for quantitative analysis per se. Thank you all, Mitch
