I have two different drawing templates with different settings. I want to show the grid in the drawing when I choose one of the two drawing templates. Is this possible?

There is a 'Display grid' check box in the document properties so I assumed that checking the box in the document and save it as 'Drawing template' should keep the setting, but it doesn't work for me.

Is this not the intended behaviour?
