Hi!

I am running a transient thermal analysis where a part consisting of two layers (joined together at one midsection) will be placed into an oven. I modeled the part thus far by doing the following:

-I set the initial temperature of the entire solid body to ambient

-I added a convection effect to the outer most surface of the device with the temperature set to that of the oven

My issues is that I don't seem to be getting any convective effect between the two surfaces. I think I need to find a way to apply a convection effect to the exterior of the inner layer, where the temperature of the convective effect changes as the material heats up. I tried to use the "link property" feature, but I was unable to do so. Any help is much appreciated! Screen shot of the part post- analysis is below, and the part is attached.
