I’m currently setting up the 3DEXPERIENCE platform for our company and I have a question regarding user settings in SOLIDWORKS.
I have already arranged the default templates; these work well via the 3DEXPERIENCE tab (so separate editing may not even be necessary).
However, for file locations such as sheet formats, tables, blocks, weldment profiles, draft standards, and balloons, all these resources are now stored in a 3DEXPERIENCE bookmark.
My question:
Since you cannot directly browse to a 3DEXPERIENCE bookmark folder via the standard 'File Locations' setting menu in SOLIDWORKS, what is the best practice for linking these file location settings to resources stored in bookmarks on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform?
Is there a recommended workflow or tool (either within SOLIDWORKS or the platform) that makes these bookmark-based resources directly selectable in the File Locations settings?
If not, what is the most efficient way teams are handling this right now to keep everything centralized on the platform?
