Hi,

For a long time I have wanted to set up my custom hardware.

The hardware I want to add is for instance DIN ISO 10243 springs and DIN 9861 punches.

If I create a DIN 9861 with all its different sizes and lengths - the part will consist of more than 500 configurations. This will make a simple part huge, nearly 8mb and slow down rebuilds.

So what would be the proper way to set up custom hardware in SolidWorks ?

And should I add my custom hardware to the Toolbox or the Design Library ?
