Hi, i am doing FEA on a access cover and  i am not sure if i am doing it right.i am jus begnieer in simulation ,any help would be much appreciated.

boundry conditions : access cover will be sitting in a pit.

material : grade 250 steel

anaysis : non linear static or dynamic (not sure)

these access covers usually tested by a hydrualic press where they put load in the centre on a 240x240 block. the load applied on a rate of  5kn/sec.they do 5 repetions of this load and it depends on the load class that how much load should be applied.deflection and permanent set is important to assess if the access cover will pass or fail in the actual testing.these covers are tested according to AS 3996 STANDARD. 

class A 10kn

class b 80kn

class c 150kn

class d 210kn

please anybody can help me to get this right
