Dear helpers,

I have a question on analyzing my flow simulation result. I know how to get averaged values on solid faces through surface goal or surface parameter. However, how do I get averaged value such as averaged velocity and averaged pressure of a non-surface area? For example, I have a simple circular pipe and the flow is flowing in x-direction. I want to know the average velocity passing through the y-z plane that is at x = 0.5m (some arbitary position). Since the y-z plane at x=0.5m is not a solid face, I can't use surface goal or surface parameter. Please advise.
