I have 2 different structural members I am trying to trim. 100mm x 50mm x 5 RHS and 100mm x 80mm x 8mm RHS. The 100mm sides are aligned so this should trim ok in reality but Solidworks seems to only set the trim angle at 45 degrees (or perhaps the angle required if it were to members of the same size) and therefore will not trim it correctly. I have selected the miter trim plane point which helps but still doesn't change the angle to what it needs to be. Is there a way to set the angle or select a second trim point so that the angle will be correct?
