Hi all

Does anyone know, given two parts, how to mate them together so that they won't protrude through each other during motion study (one is spring loaded)? I have an assembly like below:

where the pistons are supposed to touch the inner face of the brass ring. I've added tangent mates between the spherical faces and the ring's inner face. However, when motion study is run, it immediately gives this

which isn't expected given that they're all specified as solid bodies. Here's a video of what I did.​
