We have recently migrated from PDMworks to EPDM, and I am still wrapping my head around the way revisions are handled.

First off, I am curious if there is an easy way to set to a specific revision for a file?  During the import, some drawings and associated parts/assemblies came in at different revisions (e.g. Drawing at rev. G, Part at rev. D).  Ideally their revisions should match, so in my example, can I set the revision of the part from D to G straight away?  Or do I have to go the multiple increment revisions in order to get it to the part up to rev. G?

Also, when I do use the modify function Increment Revision, I notice that on the Data card, only the local revision update, the database revision remains as it was.  Is this intended functionality?  Or does the data card only show variables?  Little confused on this one.
