I would like to know if there is a way to manage having different manufacturer parts for pins given the same manufacturer part for the connector. Like for example in Harting connectors, where you can install on the same module different pins, based on the section of the wire.
I did an extensive research and found nothing about this topic, maybe I am missing something.
So far, I overcame the problem by keeping track of the types of pins for the same connector in a database, and by using a JOIN SQL query between such database and an automatic report exported from the schematics.
I would like to know if there is a way to manage all of this inside Solidworks. Any suggestion would be appreciated
