Hello all,

I need to create a revolved cut that follows a non-traditional helix path. I have a cylinder with a 2mm deep guide path for a pin to follow 180-degrees. I've used a wrap feature in the past, but then have to tweak the start/finish "cuts" to get them to appear correct in the model. If I make any adjustments, the features are then trashed and I have to experiment to get it look "right" again. The machining drawing shows the 2-D guide path for the manufacturer, but it would be nice to have a clean model.

The first attached images shows the wrap feature "cut". The second shows start and end features as if it were being machined...basically a 3mm diameter end mill x 2mm deep into the surface. Now how to connect the "dots" with the wrap feature path??
