I was given an imported solid which came in with a few open faces in SolidWorks 2014. The diagnostic tool healed the faces but left  many "sliver" embedded into the solid. I have been partially successful in using the Defeature tool to remove embedded features in some models but I couldnt get it to work for this particular model. I am more used to FEA packages like FEMAP and PATRAN which you can automatically set to ignore small features and with more robust defeaturing capability. Is there a way to get the mesher in Simulation to ignore small features?
