Lets say I have Part A that belongs in Assembly B, and both are in a state of "Released".

How can I ensure that when a user changes the state on Part A from "Released" to "Work In Process" that EPDM will grab all referenced files, in this case Assembly B, and also force the user to change the state on those files as well?

What I would like to ensure is when a part is revised, any assemblies this part is used in is also revised.
