If you have ever tried to add Uniclass2015 designations to your SOLIDWORKS parts you may have come across an error in the drop down.

If you expand the tree you can see that under Stage Wings you will find Shotput spaces. This was not what I expected to see when I went to see a Beckett play the other day!

When it should display:

It is caused by some numbers being on the wrong line in the text file found here:

\SOLIDWORKS\lang\english\IFC\uniclasstaxonomy.txt

All I needed to do was to copy the text into excel and shift all numbers at the end of the items marked "SL" down one row.

The last "SL" entry is marked with a zero.

If you are going to do this yourself then please ensure that you have a backup copy of the file.

I would attach the text file, but that does not seem to be possible here.

I have also forwarded this on to the SW Technical Support department, so that it can be included in future service packs.
