How to extrude shapes that wrap around a cylindrical and multi-angled cap?

I have a cylindrical and multi-angled burner cap already drawn. I want to apply a sketch of two shapes to the cylindrical face of the cap so that the shapes wrap around the face of the cap and can then be replicated 20 times around the cylinder face. The circle is easy and works, but the slot shape next to the circle I want to cut all the way down through the cap. I placed a reference plane on the face of the cap, drew the shapes referenced to that plane and attempted to use the wrap feature to pull the shapes flush to the face. However, the wrap feature only works with one contour face at a time...I did get the wrap feature to work if I reduced the shape to the end of the first face (see photo), but I can't figure out how to extrude the next face while keeping the same shape.

Could anyone provide some insight on how to pull the shape flush to the face of the cylinder and cut all the way through to the bottom of the cap? If you are able to make suggestions via uploading a part file, please use SW 2015 if possible. Thanks!
