I have made a cylindrical object by revolving a sketch around an axis which is the bottom line of the sketch:

But when I select the face (marked in orange) and press extruded cut, nothing will happen: I wont be redirected to the sketch window or anything! Also, I'm not going to modify the original revolved sketch to sport a circular cut, since the extruded cut I'll be making is in the shape of a hexagon.
