Greetings,

I have imported an stl file. Due to its faulting topology, it imported as a surface instead of a solid body. Now, I know how to get the total surface area of a solid body through the Mass property manager... however, there's no way to do a mass property on a part that does not contain a solid body.

I tried to thicken or knit the surface to form a solid but it won't work without putting a lot of time into it, the geometry is quite complex.

Is there a quick way to prompt the surface area of a surface body?

I managed to get that data from another software but I'd like to know if there's a way to do so in solidworks. I'm usind SW2013
